Learning Services

• Officially welcomed and onboarded 60 enthusiastic new teachers to the district, ensuring they feel right at home and fully supported.
• Hosted comprehensive summer training sessions so our educators are up-to-speed on our curriculum, classroom technology, and district values.
• Provided hands-on support to help staff set up their classrooms, plan engaging lessons, and get ready for an amazing year with our students.

Transportation

• Created 20 highly efficient bus routes and added 4 brand-new bus stops to expand access for our families this school year.
• Processed hundreds of student transportation assignments and route updates to ensure a smooth, stress-free first day.
• Provided safe summer transportation for over 120 Newcomers Summer Program students, 100% of our Special Education Summer Program students, and high schoolers taking classes at Front Range Community College.
• Supported our student-athletes by coordinating travel for our high school football camps.

Auxiliary Services

• Upgraded learning spaces by installing beautiful new flooring in 59 classrooms and remodeling two REACT Labs at CSLA and Hodgkins.

• Made our campuses greener by planting over 70 new trees, creating a Community Garden at Fairview, and installing a new solar field at the former F.M. Day campus.

• Prioritized student health and fun by installing 34 new drinking fountains with water bottle fillers, building two brand-new playgrounds, and completely refreshing two others.
• Upgraded safety and security across the district by adding protective security film to all schools, installing new fire alarm systems, and upgrading door hardware and intercoms.
• Kept our athletic facilities looking sharp by fully refinishing, sanding, and repainting eight school gym floors.
• Completed massive, behind-the-scenes building upgrades, including replacing over 2,000 LED light fixtures, 650 electrical outlets, four main water lines, and renovating three elevators.
• Added 26 electric vehicle charging stations across the district.
• Kicked off renovations for a brand-new Health Clinic to better serve our community.

Culinary Services

• Prepared and served an incredible 100,000 free summer meals (34,000 breakfasts and 66,000 lunches) to local families, including adding a convenient new serving site at Westminster Station.

• Secured a generous $290,000 Local Food Grant to help provide fresh, healthy, locally sourced food options for our students this year.
• Installed brand-new serving lines at both Colorado Summit Leadership Academy and the Uplands Discovery Campus to make lunchtime smoother and faster.

Technology Services

• Inventoried and updated 6,750 student Chromebooks and replaced over 1,500 of them with brand-new devices so our students have the fast, reliable tech they need to learn.

• Completed a massive telephone upgrade project, migrating 1,000 phones to a new system to keep our staff and buildings perfectly connected.

Logistics & Warehouse

• Moved, emptied, or relocated more than 125 classrooms and school offices to clear the way for all the exciting summer construction projects.

• Protected our schools during those renovations by laying down heavy-duty floor coverings in gyms and hallways, ensuring our buildings stayed in great shape while contractors worked.
• Handled over 20 full staff office relocations to ensure teachers and administrators are perfectly set up and ready to go for the new school year.
